It's rare to encounter a healer who can truly hold all of the experiences of illness. You will find that in Laura. In a sometimes isolating healthcare system, Laura is the companion everyone deserves. Intelligent and compassionate, she offers unparalleled listening and expert counsel for all of your spoken and unspoken concerns. She guides with gentle authority and is a consistent source of how to seek health in all forms with wisdom and courage. She has helped me through dozens of highs and lows over the years. I'm excited and feel at ease for the people who are about to be in her care.

Recently I partnered with Laura in helping an 86 year old women who was unexpectedly hospitalized. Both of her children live out of state and needed guidance on navigating the health care system along with advocating for their mothers care. Laura's background as an RN really shined through in helping with decision making, navigating the health care system, and end of life concerns. Laura truly listens, she was a problem solver, advocate and was extremely compassionate in helping our patient and her family. I strongly recommend Pacific Patient Advocacy. Wow, Laura played such a crucial part in helping my mother (and her two sons...my brother and me) through a difficult health care season. Laura played three important roles for us. 1) Advocate for our mom with front line care workers. Laura talked with nurses, PT, OT, hospital administrators to understand how they perceived my mom and made sure that meds, doctors instructions, etc. were acted on as needed. 2) Interpreter of feedback from nurses, charts, OT/PT, and doctors for my brother and me as we tried to integrate feedback and care for our mom. 3) Discussion partner in working up care requests for our mom.
